OUR MISSION

Empowering our students to achieve their academic, personal and professional goals as they move to, through, and beyond º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø.

The mission of the Center includes:  

  • Honoring contributions of active and veteran military service members from across the University community
  • Providing wrap-around services appropriate to the particular needs of the military-connected population
  • Establishing a space where military-connected students (as well as faculty and staff) can gather and feel at home
  • Developing academic and extracurricular programming to meet the needs of or military-connected students
  • Attracting military-connected students from around Missouri, the region, and the U.S. to º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø

  • GI Bill, military TA information and assistance  
  • In-state tuition  
  • Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter  
  • VA work study  
  • Computers, WiFi and TV in the Lounge  
  • VA-Supported Education

  • Break area with refrigerator, coffee, tea and microwave
  • Computers with CAC readers
  • Dedicated lounge space for students to study or hang out with other veterans
  • Office/meeting space for community resource partners and one-on-one conferencing  
  • Dedicated staff to help navigate the challenges unique to military-connected students

AU-ABC

As a member of the Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC),
º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø offers a
completely online bachelor’s degree members
of the Air Force and Space Force.

GEM Program

º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø participates in the  General Education Mobile (GEM) program.

ROTC

Army ROTC is an elective curriculum you take along with your required college classes.

º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø students can utilize the Counseling Center on campus in Eder 203.

Use ACE training credits toward a bachelor’s degree

Bachelor of Science in Technology

Don’t start over! 30 hours of ACE recommended military training credits can be used to build a foundation for a Bachelor of Science in Technology (BST) degree. 60 credits can be transferred if participating in the AU-ABC program. The credits are applied to the BST degree, not as electives.
