After pre-proposal approval, the PI/PD completes a Grant Proposal to MWSU Grants Office before official submission to the funding agency. The online  (MWSU dynamic form) needs to be submitted at least two weeks before the actual submission date to the funding agency. This form requires the final completed proposal, along with the final budget as attachments. Once this form and the relevant documents are submitted, no major changes may be made to the proposal by the investigator/researcher. If this timeline is not feasible due to extenuating circumstances, please reach out to Dr. Roy (troy1@missouriwestern.edu) to discuss options, as soon as possible.
Final submission of the grant to the appropriate agency can only take place after the Final Proposal has been approved by authorized personnel.
If the proposal requires submission by the MWSU AOR, for example an NSF proposal, then the final completed proposal [linked to any collaborator(s)], including all the required documents needs to be shared with the AOR at least 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) prior to the actual due date for submission, as listed by the granting agency

On April 4, 2022, the U.S. Department of Education will join other Federal agencies and transition to utilizing the new Unique Entity ID for grant recipient and applicant organizations, rather than the previously utilized DUNS Number. The Unique Entity ID is administered through (System for Award Management).
