The following checklist is for military connected students already admitted and enrolling at Missouri Western.

STEP 1: Enroll at Missouri Western
Send all final transcripts to theÌýOffice of Admissions, ensuring successful completion of all conditions noted in the admissions letter.
Students cannot register for courses until the university receives proof of immunization history.
Explore financial assistance. All degree seeking students can apply for financial aid by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (). Aid includes need-based scholarships, grants, and loans. Additional information may be obtained through theÌýOffice of Financial Aid.
STEP 2: Meet with the School Certifying Official
All student veterans must visit theÌýSchool Certifying OfficialÌýto file required paperwork to receive VA Education Benefits. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the process of claiming benefits.
Schedule an appointment with the Missouri Western’sÌýSchool Certifying OfficialÌýin Eder 103, call (816) 271-5679.
STEP 3: Get connected and explore resources
Connect with other student veterans throughÌý. This a student organization dedicated to help fellow collegiate veterans in the transition from military to college life. You can alsoÌý.
TheÌýNontraditional and Commuter Student CenterÌýis located in Eder 200. It is a designated location on campus for student veterans to study, meet with other veterans or nontraditional students to spend time with and support each other in a fun and relaxing space.
