The Show Me Hope Program was designed to address the needs of those affected by Covid-19.

The program serves nine counties including Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clinton, Dekalb, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway, and Worth. Currently, there are seven crisis counselors available to aide in connecting those affected by the virus with local resources to assist in recovery.

Services are free of charge and completely confidential. Show Me Hope’s goals are to reduce stress and provide emotional support, educate survivors on healthy coping strategies, and find them appropriate resources for their specific needs. Counselors are available to speak to individuals as well as to groups.

Join us November 6 for our Walk (Drive) for the Homeless.

This year our Walk for the Homeless is a Drive! Due to COVID-19 we are going to keep safe and do a Drive for the Homeless. This event helps to raise awareness of homelessness in St. Joseph, Missouri. The walk helps raise funds for the homeless community in St. Joseph to help obtain I.D. cards, birth certificates, and transportation.

We will be parking in the Downtown YMCA Parking Lot at 315 S. 6th Street. We will leave the parking lot and drive the route in a parade-style. Be sure to like our Facebook Page for up-to-date information at .
