Please note the addition of a $25 late fee referenced above. Students earning a stand-alone certificate will be charged a $30 graduation application fee and not be subject to a late fee.<\/p>\n<p>The graduation fee includes domestic shipping for the diploma. <strong>International shipments <\/strong>must be initiated by the student and use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2024\/12\/eShipGlobal-Instructions_120424.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eShipGlobal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The graduation fee does not include the cost for a cap, gown, hood and optional accessories. Students participating in commencement must wear appropriate regalia that can be purchased online through <a href=\"https:\/\/colleges.herffjones.com\/college\/_mwsu\/\">Herff Jones<\/a> or at the MWSU Bookstore. Students who complete all associate, bachelor or master degree requirements in the Fall will be eligible to attend the DECEMBER commencement ceremony. Students who complete all associate, bachelor or master degree requirements in the Spring and Summer will be eligible to attend the MAY commencement ceremony. Students earning a stand-alone undergraduate or graduate certificate are not eligible to participate in the Missouri Western commencement ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students attending commencement will receive a diploma cover and honors stole, if applicable. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students not attending commencement have the option to visit the Registrar\u2019s Office in Eder 102 to pick-up a diploma cover beginning the week of finals and an honors stole, if applicable, after final grades have been posted for the graduating term. Diploma covers and honors stoles cannot be mailed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Official Missouri Western diplomas will be mailed 4-6 weeks after commencement. Prior to this an email will be sent to the student\u2019s MWSU email account requesting address confirmation.
