\"FindDec. 14, 2022–Adults without a college degree can learn about ways to increase their earning potential through two Find My Path Days offered by 含羞草社区 and the Community Action Partnership of Greater St. Joseph (CAP) in January.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFind My Path Days are career advising events that will help people identify what professions would best match their interests, explore realistic educational pathways to get there, and even learn about funding opportunities that may be available to help pay for their classes,\u201d said Dr. Jerri Arnold-Cook, director of Missouri Western\u2019s Career Development Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Attendees can learn more about Missouri Western\u2019s microcredentials, short-term education programs that provide real skills to help learners qualify for jobs related to <\/span>chemical laboratories<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>digital media<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>early childhood education<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>special education<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>psychology<\/span><\/a>. Missouri residents will also learn about book scholarships and childcare voucher opportunities as well as additional funding opportunities through CAP.<\/span><\/p>\n

Find My Path Days will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 4 and 5, in the Career Development Center at Missouri Western, Blum Union room 210. The events are free, but preregistration is required at <\/span>griff.vn\/path\/<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
