Oral arguments will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Kemper Recital Hall, inside Leah Spratt Hall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A panel consisting of Presiding Judge Lisa White Hardwick, Judge Thomas Chapman, and Judge Janet Sutton will hear oral arguments in four cases. After the oral arguments, the judges will take time to discuss the court system and take general questions from the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The court regularly convenes court in Kansas City. However, for more than 20 years, the court has held sessions in several of the 45 counties in the court\u2019s jurisdiction, which includes all of northwest Missouri and most of central Missouri. The court convenes oral arguments outside of Kansas City to give individuals an opportunity to observe a part of the judicial system they normally do not see and to familiarize those attending with the court\u2019s role in the judicial system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The court has posted <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.courts.mo.gov\/file.jsp?id=189556\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a summary of the cases to be heard<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> as a PDF on their website.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">含羞草社区 is a student-centered learning community preparing individuals for lives of excellence through applied learning.
