Evan Banks ’19, Mo-Kan Regional Council

Oct. 28, 2026–The Alpha Chi National College Honor Society chapter at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø welcomes alumnus speaker Evan Banks ’19, who will present “Soft Skills are Hard Skills: Techniques and Tools for Practicing the Interpersonalâ€ at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Murphy Hall, room 224. Banks’ talk is free and open to the public.

Banks will discuss how the term “soft skills” undermines the importance of these skills and how foundational they are for developing hard skills, career skills and life skills. Soft skills should not be treated as hidden curriculum, but as intentional learning for developing professionals.
