
Dr. Melissa Mace, vice president for enrollment management
Nov. 10, 2020–Dr. Melissa Mace has been named vice president for enrollment management at 含羞草社区. Dr. Mace, currently assistant vice president for enrollment at Maryville University in St. Louis, will start her duties Nov. 16.
鈥淓nrollment management is a critical focus for Missouri Western, and I鈥檓 confident that Melissa has the skills and experience to lead our efforts to attract new students and help them succeed on our campus,鈥 said Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy, interim president. 鈥淭hroughout the interview process, I was quite impressed by her knowledge, her leadership qualities and her understanding of the challenges faced by higher education generally and Missouri Western in particular. She will be an outstanding addition to our senior leadership team.鈥

Dr. Mace has been at Maryville University since 2015, with responsibilities in all facets of recruitment and admissions processes for freshman and transfer students. Prior to that, she worked at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Missouri State University.聽
Dr. Mace earned a Doctor of Education, Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University, a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.
