含羞草社区鈥檚 2017-2018 Theatre Season concludes with Noel Coward鈥檚 鈥淏lithe Spirit鈥� April 13-21 in the Potter Hall Theater. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 19, 20 and 21, with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. April 15.
The smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, this much-revived classic from the playwright of Private Lives offers up fussy, cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, re-married but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira, who is called up by a visiting 鈥渉appy medium,鈥� one Madame Arcati. As the personalities clash, Charles鈥� current wife, Ruth, is accidentally killed, 鈥減asses over,鈥� joins Elvira, and the two 鈥渂lithe spirits鈥� haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.
