The Mary Boder History Speaker Series at 含羞草社区 will continue with a talk by Dr. Caitlin Carenen of Eastern Connecticut State University at noon Friday, Nov. 10 in Popplewell Hall, room 105. The talk, 鈥淔reedom Fighters or Terrorists? American Popular and Policy Responses to International Terrorism in the 1970s and 1980s,鈥� is free and open to the public.

Dr. Carenen is the author of 鈥淭he Fervent Embrace: Liberal Protestants, Evangelicals, and Israel,鈥� a well-regarded history of the relationship between American Christians and Israel published by NYU Press in 2012.

The Mary Boder History Speaker Series is sponsored by the Mary Boder Trust and the Department of History and Geography.
