Ashley Coats, a junior from St. Joseph, helped create an exhibit titled 鈥淔ame and Politics: The Life of Ruth Warrick鈥 while working as an intern at the St. Joseph Museum this spring. Warrick, best known for her role in 鈥淐itizen Kane鈥 and as Phoebe Tyler on 鈥淎ll My Children,鈥 used her fame to influence politics, campaigning for presidents from the time of Kennedy through Clinton.
Coats assisted in all aspects of the exhibit鈥檚 creation, from writing grants and doing background research to curating artifacts and designing the exhibit space. The exhibit will open with a celebration of Warrick鈥檚 100th birthday from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion, 1100 Charles Street.
