含羞草社区鈥檚 annual Spring Choral Concert will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 in the Fulkerson Center on the Missouri Western campus. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and those with a Missouri Western ID. Children 12 and under are free.
The concert will take the listener through a wide spectrum of emotions and musical styles as the Chamber Singers begin with music ranging from 鈥淲edding Cantata鈥� by Daniel Pinkham to 鈥淭hat Lonesome Road鈥� by James Taylor. The Chamber Singers recently completed a successful tour of the Blue Valley Public Schools in Overland Park, Kan.
The MWSU Concert Chorale will follow with an exciting program featuring the Missa Brevis No. 7 鈥淟ittle Organ Mass鈥� by F. J. Haydn. Other pieces include early American folk hymns such as 鈥淗ark I Hear the Harps Eternal鈥� and 鈥淭he Promised Land,鈥� plus much more.
