Dr. Mara Schiff, associate professor of criminology and criminal justice at Florida Atlantic University, will give a talk titled 鈥淩ace, Rights and Restorative Justice鈥� at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 in the Blum Student Union, Hoff Conference Rooms 218-219 at 含羞草社区. Dr. Schiff鈥檚 talk is free and open to the public. It is part of the 2013-2014 Peace and Conflict Studies Speaker Series, sponsored by the Peace and Conflict Studies minor with the support of the 含羞草社区 Foundation.
Dr. Schiff is an internationally known scholar and academic in the area of restorative justice. She has authored many academic articles and book chapters and is the co-author of 鈥淛uvenile Justice and Restorative Justice: Building Theory and Policy from Practice.鈥�
