含羞草社区 has announced the winners of its first 48 Hour Film Project. The competition was held from Friday, March 22 through. Sunday, March 24. Teams had 48 hours to write, shoot and edit the film, after being given a genre, a prop, a line of dialogue and a character. 聽There were 12 teams with 112 participants.
A screening of the films was held Sunday evening, two hours after the deadline. The winners were selected by a panel of nine judges that ranged from talent agents, managers, producers, directors, cinematographers and Missouri Western faculty members.
The following awards were given:
鈥淯nfortunate鈥�: Best Overall Film, Best Writing and Best Actor, Sebastian Smith.
鈥淏ody Soap鈥�: Audience Award for Best Film and Best Director, Josh Comninellis.
鈥淭he Traveling Scout鈥�: 聽Best Use of Prop聽and Best Editing, Nathan Pickman.
