鈥淒r. Daffron and Dr. Grimes have done an excellent job of leading the student affairs division through this period of transition,鈥 Dr. Vartabedian said. 鈥淒r. Grimes has been a valued member of the university鈥檚 staff since 1996 and will be a capable leader. I appreciate her willingness to accept this responsibility.鈥
鈥淚 also appreciate Dr. Daffron鈥檚 special efforts during the transition,鈥 Dr. Vartabedian added. 鈥淗er duties as provost are demanding and she willingly and effectively accepted extra oversight responsibilities in student affairs.
