New Foundation Board members
Three people joined the 含羞草社区 Foundation Board of Directors in February 2014: Lisa Norton of LAN Resources, LLC, St. Joseph, Mo.; Brent Porlier 鈥�82, Porlier Outdoor Advertising Co., Foristell, Mo.; and Jason Grayson 鈥�98, Hillshire Brands of St. Joseph.
John Sublett Logan Foundation gift
Trustees of the John Sublett Logan Foundation recently notified Missouri Western鈥檚 Foundation that it is the recipient of $90,000. The funds will be used for scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students and a summer research program for faculty members in the Steven L. Craig School of Business.
鈥淭ime and again, we have seen how much it means to students to receive scholarships,鈥� said Jerry Pickman 鈥�85, vice president for University Advancement. 鈥淔or many students, scholarships determine whether or not they can continue their education.鈥�
