A win for the Missouri Western women would put them at a .500 winning percentage for the season. The Griffons have started .500 or better through the first 10 games in each of the last four seasons.  has given the Griffons a much needed offensive boost. Davies is averaging over 13 points and 30 minutes over her last three games, including a career-high 18 points in the team’s win over Lincoln on Dec. 8.
Wednesday will be the fifth game that Griffon men’s basketball has played against a Great Lakes Valley Conference opponent. The Griffons are 2-3 against GLVC opponents this season.
A Griffon men’s win would give the Griffons a .500 record through 12 games. The Griffons have not been .500 or better after 10 games since the 2014-15 season.
The women play at home again on Sunday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m., against Adams State University from Alamosa, Colorado. The men will play at home at 3 p.m. that day against University of Illinois Springfield.
