These practical tips and resources can help them get started as they navigate back to the classroom or distance learning after break.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Get dressed<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Avoid the temptation to stay in your PJs. Start your day by getting dressed in your normal school clothes and you&#8217;ll get in the mindset of heading to class. Otherwise you might find yourself in the mood for lounging on the couch.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Create a workspace<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do you have a favorite spot to study when you&#8217;re on campus? Whether it\u2019s your dorm room, a coffee shop or the library, creating a similar space at home can help you stay focused.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Establish a routine<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have a morning routine at school? Whether it&#8217;s grabbing a cup of coffee, having breakfast or hitting the gym, try to find ways to replicate your normal class-day rituals. This will help you mentally prepare to study.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Set boundaries<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It can be hard to say \u201cno\u201d to family or friends when you don\u2019t have to go to class, but you can let them know you&#8217;re busy when you&#8217;re in your workspace.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Turn off distractions<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Turn off your phone, your microphone, your webcam \u2014 whatever it takes to help you stay focused while working. This isn\u2019t always easy in our connected world, but there are tools available to help set limits and stop distractions. Don\u2019t be afraid to ask for help. This situation is new for all of us, and there will be plenty of questions that arise.
