Deb Olin Unferth will give a public reading of her work at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 6, in Kemper Recital Hall on the campus of 含羞草社区. This event is free and is open to the public. Deb Olin Unferth will sign copies of her books during a reception immediately following the event.
Copies of the Spring 2020 issue of The Mochila Review, Missouri Western鈥檚 national undergraduate literary journal, will also be available at the event. The issue features an interview with Unferth, who served as guest judge for Mochila鈥檚 annual contest for undergraduate writers. From more than 50 applicants, Unferth selected as the contest winner Gabriel J. Perez鈥檚 short story 鈥淗ow to Become Your Father,鈥� which will appear in The Mochila Review鈥檚 Spring 2020 issue.
