The º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Police Department is a state licensed law enforcement agency. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 daysÌýa week to provide around-the-clock security for our students. We also offer several services on campus. We conduct campus-wide active-shooter training, and present to all incoming freshmen. We also train on drug and alcohol abuse. We are also available to train on several topics by request including sexual assault and domestic violence.
On top of performing law enforcement activities we can jump-start and unlock cars, and provide courtesy rides to students who feel that they need a safe escort while on campus. The Police Department also administers Griffon Alert,ÌýMissouri Western’s emergency notification system. See the news item below on how to register for emergency notifications.
